History

Beginning in 2018, Keith and Cristina Scott started a mobile homeless ministry visiting the homeless campgrounds in Fresno, offering clean clothes, food bags, special holidays hot meals and hygiene items.

Keith and Cristina spent time with the homeless, listening to their life stories, praying together, reading the Bible, providing rides to our local Seventh-day Adventist Church.

In 2019, a Soup Kitchen was opened in our church, providing hot meals, gift food bags, clothes and programs with music and spiritual empowerment supported by our Pastor Daniel Gouveia and Youth Department.

The regular visits on the homeless campgrounds and the discussions with locals raised a concern about the need for showers and restoring the dignity most of us take for granted.  Consequently, we created GraceBound Inc to expand our ministries to include showers.  An RV was purchased for temporary showers until funds are raised for purchasing shower trailers.  Starting small is big for those who do not have much.

We have partnered with Fresno Central Seventh-day Adventist Church, Fresno Adventist Community Center, and Sunnyside Seventh-day Adventist Church.  We also supply clothing and footwear to homeless shelters Days Inn, Welcome Inn, Rescue Mission, LGBTQ Center, Rescue for Children, Naomi House and Poverello House (Holy Cross).

We aim to make a difference in our Fresno community. We strongly believe that the blessings we receive are not ours; they are to be shared with those in need.
